Following the success of tutorials in previous years, we will once again offer tutorials during the summer school. To this end, we invite proposals of interest for 3 hours (half-day) or 6 hours (full-day) tutorials to take place during the summer school. We encourage tutorials involving active participation and some hands-on sessions.

Proposals are welcomed on any topic of broad interest to the security/privacy community. The proposal should be a 1-page PDF clearly stating the following information:

  • The title;
  • name, affiliation, and email address of the speaker;
  • an abstract of up to 500 words;
  • a statement of expected audience background; and
  • a statement of any logistical requirements (e.g., room organization, projector, flipchart, etc.) and possible restrictions on the size of the audience.

Proposals (and/or any questions) should be submitted by email to the tutorial chair Stjepan Picek (stjepan.picek@ru.nl) noting the following deadlines:

  • Submission: January 15, 2023
  • Notification: January 30, 2023

Speakers for accepted proposals will be offered complimentary registration to the Summer School on Real-World Crypto and Privacy 2023, plus accommodation for up to five days in the school venue (for 1 tutorial speaker). Please note that tutorials will not allow an online-participation option.
